ORCA - Terms and Conditions

  • Acceptance of Terms

    By accessing or using the Old Rajshahi Cadets Association (ORCA) website, Android app, and Apple app (collectively, "the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the Platform.

  • User Eligibility

    You must be an ex cadet of Rajshahi Cadet College to use some of the features of this Platform. You may be required to provide proof of your alumni status if requested by the platform administrators.

  • User Conduct

    1. You agree to use the Platform in a lawful and respectful manner.
    2. You are solely responsible for any content you post on the Platform, including text, images, or any other media. Do not post content that is offensive, defamatory, illegal, or violates the rights of others.
    3. You may not use the Platform for any commercial or promotional purposes without prior written consent from the platform administrators.

  • Privacy Policy

    By using the Platform, you agree to our Privacy Policy, which outlines how your personal information is collected, used, and protected. Please review our Privacy Policy for more information.
    For Android app, and Apple app you agree to Google's and Apple's standard privacy policy respectively.

  • Intellectual Property

    1. All content and intellectual property on the Platform, including text, logos, graphics, and software, are owned or licensed by ORCA. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without prior written consent.
    2. User-generated content (e.g., alumni profiles, posts) may be used by ORCA for promotional and informational purposes on the Platform and other official ORCA publications.

  • Child Safety Standards

    ORCA is committed to maintaining a safe and respectful environment for all users, regardless of age. The following measures are in place to ensure user safety:
    1. Safe Interactions: All user-generated content, including posts, profiles, and media shared on the Platform, is subject to moderation. Content that is harmful, exploitative, or violates community guidelines will be promptly removed.
    2. Reporting System: Users can report inappropriate behavior or content via the in-app reporting feature or by contacting us at reg@orca.org.bd. All reports will be reviewed and addressed in a timely manner.
    3. Guidelines for Parents and Guardians: If minors access the Platform, parents and guardians are encouraged to supervise their activity and educate them on safe online practices.

  • Termination

    ORCA reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at its discretion, with or without notice.

  • Dispute Resolution

    Any disputes or claims arising from the use of the Platform will be governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts in Bangladesh.
